70Small breeds for registered Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A & B ponies, - Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 138cms suitable for, and to be ridden by, riders who have attained their 7th birthday on 1st January
71Large breeds for registered New Forest, Welsh C & D, Highland, Fells and Dales, Mare or Gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 148cms., suitable for, and to be ridden by riders who have attained their 12th birthday on 1st January in the current

Entry Fees: RUAS Member £75, Non Member £80
Stabling is included in the entry fee for the evening before the class only.

Entries will be limited to the first 15 received in each class. If insufficient entries received, the classes may be combined.

Any suitable bridle may be worn. Bits must be used in their manufactured condition without any addition or modification to, or on, any part. The bit must never be used to reprimand the pony. Judges will take into consideration the effectiveness and severity of the bit and bridle and their decision is final. Ponies must not be plaited, and any trimming will be penalised.

Ponies must be registered with the respective breed society studbook to compete in Mountain and Moorland classes. Breed society numbers to be stated when entering Mountain and Moorland classes. No part-bred ponies are eligible. Connemara ponies are also excluded.
