MINI RIDDEN PONIES

All ponies must arrive between 6.00am and 8.00am on the morning of judging or between 6.00pm and 9.00pm the evening before judging. Exhibitors cannot arrive outside these hours as they will be refused entry. There will be a designated area at the stables for the vetting and passport checking. This will require the removal of the animal from the horsebox for inspection of passport, flu vaccinations and to scan the microchip.

All ponies competing in Ridden pony classes and Show Hunter pony classes must present their height certificate when presenting their passport at the arrivals area.

Only ponies in possession of a current height or final measurement certificate appropriate to their class may compete. This certificate should be issued in the current year by the JMB, SJAI or IPS or a certificate issued by a society or scheme approved by the FEI or issued by a National Federation affiliated to the FEI or a certificate issued by a society of scheme approved by such National Federation.

Stabling is only available on the evening before your class. Stables (3m x 3m) will be provided for all pony classes with the exception of the Cliden High Performance Qualifier class. If a stable is required for this section, it must be booked with your entry at a cost of £30.

If you require additional stabling for extra nights in any other classes, please book this with your entries at a cost of £30 per additional night.

Equines may only be entered in one section: Either horse or pony.

Correctly secured, protective headgear that meets the current safety standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted.

Any suitable snaffle bridle may be worn. Bits must be used in their manufactured condition without any addition or modification to, or on, any part and conform to the requirements of the class. The bit must never be used to reprimand the pony. Judges will take into consideration the effectiveness and severity of the bit and bridle and their decision is final.

Entries will be limited to the first 20 received in each class.
