This class is to encourage a harmonious and elegant impression of the side saddle horse and rider combination whilst promoting effective horsemanship. To be judged 25% conformation & action; 25% manners & way of going; 25% rider; and 25% turnout of horse and rider. After the ride around, the riders will be called forward to do an individual show, showing walk, trot and canter on both reins with a canter extension on one rein. The judge will not ride the exhibits, horses will not be stripped. The judge shall use the mark sheet provided. Traditional habits must be worn. Fancy dress and Period Costumes not permitted. Silk hats are permitted to be worn in this class.
