Ayrshire All animals must be entered in the Herd Book of the Ayrshire Cattle Society of Great Britain & Ireland and be at least 51% Ayrshire blood. If black and white in colour animals must be registered in the Herd Book's full pedigree Ayrshire section and be 100% Ayrshire blood.
