To be ridden by riders who have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January 2015.

Aim of class - to demonstrate the temperament and suitability of the Irish Draught horse for the amateur rider market.

The Irish Draught is the foundations of the Irish Sport Horse. It should have good movement, ridability, bravery and be capable of participating competently in all equestrian activities.

It should be strong, intelligent, willing, sensible and have a kind disposition.

A jumping element (2 fences height 80cms) has been introduced to the class to showcase the performance potential of the Irish Draught.
